Dr. Daniel Markus was drawn to holistic health from a young age, and grew to love the science of the human body. He grew up in Whitefish, Montana where he enjoyed playing various sports and took advantage of the abundant outdoor activities that Montana has to offer. However, it was ice hockey and golf that he excelled in, achieving all-state athlete status in both sports in high school.
After high school, Dr. Markus attended Arizona State University, and fell in love with Arizona. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2013. Throughout his schooling, Dr. Markus knew he wanted to be in the medical field, but having had the opportunity to shadow numerous medical professionals, he realized he wanted to pursue healthcare from a more holistic approach.
Dr. Markus enrolled in Southern California University of Health Sciences where he graduated Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractics. Throughout Chiropractic school, Dr. Markus had a desire for additional knowledge. At graduation, he had already attended twenty courses and seminars, accumulating hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education. This effort has resulted in a dozen advanced certifications including Full-Body Active Release Technique, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization I & II, Functional Movement Taping I & II, and McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
While in school Dr. Markus married the love of his life, and shortly after graduating, became the father of a healthy little boy. In his free time, Dr. Markus enjoys golfing, mountain biking, playing ice hockey, going to the gym, and spending time with his growing family.
