Do you suffer from
foot or hand pain?

Peripheral Neuropathy

Peripheral neuropathy (PN) is a nerve disorder that affects the feet, legs, hands, and arms. Peripheral nerves are critical to letting the brain now about touch, heat, cold, balance, and pain. More than 100 types of PN exist, but there are 2 main types:

1. Mononeuropathy is where a single nerve is damaged;
2. Polyneuropathy where multiple nerves are damaged.

The most common type of mononeuropathy is carpal tunnel syndrome. Polyneuropathy is more common, usually affecting both sides of the body similarly.
