Mollie Callanan is a native of a small town south of Buffalo, New York, she grew up alpine ski racing and continued into college. In 1988, she received her Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences from Buffalo State College. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 1995.

Once becoming a physical therapist, she relocated to Phoenix in 1996 and has since been providing Physical Therapy services throughout Maricopa County. Her experience is in a variety of rehabilitation settings, primarily focusing on Orthopedic Sports Medicine.

Mollie is passionate about customizing programs for her BackFit patients to each achieve specific goals for them. She places an emphasis on Functional Medicine using manual therapy and body mechanics training to restore normalization of joint movement with special core, hip, and shoulder stabilization exercises and correction of dysfunctional neuromuscular patterns.

Mollie has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and working to feel her very best. When she isn’t working with her patients, Mollie enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters. She also enjoys weight training, Pilates, yoga, hiking, traveling, live music, and spending time in nature. Her favorite place in the world is Rome.
