Katherine Gaian, or Katie, grew up in Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree in biobehavioral health and biology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2013. Katie then went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University in 2016.
Katie has a close family member with cerebral palsy and growing up seeing their everyday struggles got her interested in the medical field particularly in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Katie’s medical background is in primary care, wellness, and pain management. She likes to incorporate a multi-disciplinary approach and focus on preventative medicine.
She enjoys spending time outdoors such as kayaking, hiking, and off-roading. She loves traveling and spending time with her fiancé and dog.
