Kellie Leavitt grew up in Idaho where her love of physical therapy started. When she was young she shadowed a physical therapist and this was her first step to discovering more about PT. As Kellie grew older, she paid more attention to the physical therapists she interacted with through sports. The more she was around them the more she realized this is what she wanted to do.
Kellie started off her undergraduate journey at Southern Utah University to achieve her first associate degree. Then she moved to Dixie State University where she receive a second Associated Degree in Physical Therapy. Then she moved on to complete her undergraduate career. Also, from Dixie State University, Kellie achieved her Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Healthcare Administration.
Kellie started working for Backfit because she was intrigued by the integrated care model that BackFit offers. After learning more about the collaborative approach to patient care, she was excited at the prospect of being a part of a team that can provide well-rounded health care to patients. She was also looking forward to learning more about the different practices within the BackFit clinics.
Outside of work, Kellie loves to hike, camp, read, or stay in and binge-watch old tv shows. Although, most of her time is spent running around with her daughter.
